Associated Press COLUMBUS -- Jena Stutzman, whose steady hand guided Hiland to its fourth Division IV state title this decade, is the most outstanding player on the 2008 Associated Press all-tournament team. Stutzman, a first-team All-Ohioan, scored only 21 points in two games but was the most dependable player for the second-ranked Hawks, particularly in their 44-37 victory over No. 1 Columbus Africentric in the title game on Monday. Joining her on the team are teammates Hilary Weaver (18 points, 10 assists and four rebounds) and Katelyn Stuckey (18 points, 10 rebounds). The rest of the team included: Africentric's Ashar Harris (18 points, 25 rebounds in two games) and Tyeasha Moss (28 points in two games) and New Riegel's Lauren Hutton (15 points, five rebounds and three assists in a semifinals loss). |
