Hiland 83, Newcomerstown 25

Hiland used a stifling defensive effort and dominated yet another Inter-Valley Conference foe.  The Hawks took a 45-7 lead into the intermission and just coasted over Newcomerstown.

Launa Hochstetler tallied a game high 23 markers, Lindsay Stuckey netted 18 points and Leah Hochstetler scored 15 points for Hiland.  Lydia Miller and Jena Stutzman added eight points a piece for the locals.

The Hawks defense forced a total of 26 turnovers as the Trojans tossed up 27 shots.
